About Libguides
This LibGuide was prepared especially for your program. This LibGuide will show you how to access and use the library's electronic resources as well as how to get help when you need it. Use the tabs on the left hand side to navigate this guide.
The NLTCC is an online library, which means that our resources are provided electronically. Electronic resources (eresources) are some of the most valuable and convenient library resources that faculty and students can use to enhance research and learning. Additionally, these resources can be accessed from anywhere at anytime as long as there is internet access. These resources include electronic books (ebooks), electronic journals (ejournals), reference databases, statistical databases, and multi-media collections.
The NLTCC Library is a member of The Louisiana Library Network (LOUIS). LOUIS is a consortia of private and public academic libraries and is supported by the Louisiana Board of Regents.
Eresources can be some of the most costly to acquire. However, LOUIS works on behalf of its members to leverage state-wide purchases in order to minimize costs and maximize access. The electronic databases provided by LOUIS support the core curricula in all two- and four-year colleges and universities.
