Rapid Response is an early intervention outplacement service offered to workers affected by major layoffs and plant closings.

The Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) is a community service and work-based job training program for older Americans. Authorized by the Older Americans Act, the program provides training for low-income, unemployed seniors.

At Shreveport Job Corps Center, we support the Job Corps program’s mission to teach eligible young people the skills they need to become employable and independent and place them in meaningful jobs or further education.

TAA services and benefits apply to workers who have lost their jobs because of imports from any country. NAFTA services and benefits apply to workers who have lost their jobs because of imports from, or shift in production to, Mexico or Canada. Note: Since NAFTA is a part of the TAA program, TAA is sometimes used below to indicate both TAA and NAFTA services and benefits.
